Barbara Ann Chambers, 61, of Pineville, WV passed away on Saturday March 3, 2018 at her home following
a long illness. She was born on November 13, 1956 in Mullens,  WV a daughter of the late Dewey Corbin
Chambers and Audrey D. Baldwin Clay.  In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by three sisters
Naomi Jasper, Mary Wimmer and Eleanor Stafford. Survivors include her fiancé Jerry Keith "Shaky"
Shumate of Pineville; a daughter Melissa Holstein of OH; two sons Patrick (Jolene) Holstein of Lynco and
Jason Holstein of Oceana; two sisters Millie (Glen) Williams of Lynco and Clarisse Clay of Lynco; two
brothers Terry "Bo" Chambers and companion Lula of Lynco and Timmy (Linda) Clay of Lynco; special
friends Joe and Rachael Green of Pineville; niece and caretaker Audrey Belcher; and a host of other loving
family and friends. Funeral services will be held at 1PM on Friday March 9th in the Chapel of Stafford
Family Funeral Home, Lynco, WV with Rev. Bill Goode officiating. She will be laid to rest in Clay Family

Alice Fern Hatfield, 76, of Texarkana, TX grew her wings peacefully at Christus St. Michael Hospital on
Tuesday March 6, 2018. She was born on October 21, 1941 in Fanrock, WV a daughter of the late William
and Asia England Lambert. Survivors include her husband Hershel Hatfield; two sons Marty (Kimberly)
Hatfield and  Eddie Hatfield; six grandchildren; four great grandchildren; siblings Daniel Lambert, Eddie
Lambert and Betty Reed. Funeral services will be held at 1PM Tuesday March 13th in the Chapel of Stafford
Family Funeral Home, Lynco with Rev. Andy Howdock officiating. She will be laid to rest in Palm Memorial
Gardens, Matheny, WV. Friends may gather with the family from 5-8PM on Monday March 12th at the

Hellen L. Cook, 81, of Oceana, WV passed away on Sunday February 25, 2018 in Broward Medical Center in
Florida after a short illness. Hellen was born September 3, 1936 in Braeholm, WV to the late Charley and
Ruth Farris. She was preceded in death by her husband Charles W. Cook; brother Homer Farris ; and sister
Christine Farris. Hellen was a 1954 graduate of Man High School. She worked most of her adult life at Cohen
Drug at Man, Island Creek Dept. Store at Accoville, and manager of the Justonian Motel at Justice until she
retired. She was a member of the Oceana United Methodist Church, Oceana Women's Club and the DAR. She
also served on the Oceana City Council. Hellen is survived by her daughter Julie (Charlie) Stephenson of
Coral Springs, FL; her son Perry (Patti) Cook of Oceana; three grandsons Nick (Ashley) Cook of Oceana, Ben
(Sunny) Cook of Mooresville, NC and Brock Stephenson of Coral Springs, FL; a great granddaughter Lindsey
Cook; a great grandson Hudson Cook; four sisters Mary Jean Chambers of St. Pete, FL, Thelma (George)
Hosea of Conroe, TX, Peggy Stepp of Dayton, OH and Susan (Dale) Duncan of New Lebanon, OH along with
a host of nieces and nephews. As per her wishes, Hellen was cremated. There will be a celebration of  
Hellen's life at 1PM on Saturday March 17th at the Oceana United Methodist Church, Oceana, WV. Friends
may gather with the family from 11AM until time of services on Saturday March 17th at the church. In lieu
of flowers please make donations to the Oceana United Methodist Church.   
Myrtle Bell Bailey, 44, of Panther, WV passed away on Monday March 12, 2018 at CAMC Memorial,
Charleston, WV. She was born on September 15, 1973 in Welch, WV a daughter of the late James and Ruby
Browning Adkins. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by a daughter Donna Anderson; two
sisters Cathy Browning and Linda Meadows; and a brother Terry Adams. Survivors include her loving
husband of 17 years Eddy Merl Bailey; a daughter Dolly (Teddy) Bishop of Gary; four sons Shawn Bailey of
Alabama, Donald Bailey of Moundsville, Eddie Bailey of the home and Cody Vanover of Litwar; two sisters
Sherry (Felix) Steele and Tina Lester all of Short Pole; three brothers Nick (Sue) Adams of Brenton, Junior
Browning of Vansant, VA and James "Bucky" (Patricia) Adkins of VA; fourteen grandchildren; two great
grandchildren; and a host of other loving family and friends. Funeral services will be held at 1PM on
Saturday March 17th at the House of Jeremiah, Hanover, WV with Rev. Eddy Bailey, Rev. Sandy Bryant,
Rev. Teddy Bishop and Rev. Johnny Akers officiating. She will be laid to rest in Long Pole Community

Ernest Ervin Blankenship, 84, of Clear Fork, WV passed away on Wednesday March 14, 2018 at Select
Specialty Hospital, Charleston, WV. He was born on June 18, 1933 in Isaban, WV a son of the late Ora Virgil
and Velvie Griffin Blankenship. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by a daughter Debbie
Blankenship; a step son Edward Toler; and a sister Thelma Latrell. Survivors include his wife of 29 years
Lougetta Morgan Blankenship; and a host of other family and friends.  Funeral services will be held at 2PM
on Sunday March 18th in the Chapel of Stafford Family Funeral Home, Lynco, WV with Rev. Rocky Morgan

Bonnie Kaye Watts Sammons, 57, of Pineville, WV passed away on Wednesday March 14, 2018 at her
home.  She was born on July 18, 1960 in Luling, TX a daughter of Morgan Lee and Bonnie Faye Watts of
Lufkin, TX. She is preceded in death by her grandparents Levi and Addie Watts and Wiley and Lavada
Wimberley; and father-in-law Wesley Sammons. Survivors include her loving husband of 30 years Larry
Sammons; a son Nathan Y'Barbo of Lufkin, TX; a daughter Tammy Sammons Mullens; six grandchildren
Anthony, Lestat, Dominic, Christopher, Brian and Kimmey; a brother Lynn Watts; and a host of other

Gary Wilson Brooks, 70, of Mullens, WV passed away on Saturday March 17, 2018 at CAMC General
Hospital.  He was born on October 21, 1947 in Glen Fork, WV a son of the late James Jennings and Roberta
Bailey Brooks. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by two brothers Rodney and James Brooks.
Survivors include his loving wife of 37 years Debra Kay Redden Brooks;  two daughters Dealia "Dee"
(James, Jr.) Bragg of Cyclone and April Brooks of Beckley; a son Patrick Brooks of Mullens; a sister Sandra
(Skip) Estil of St. Albans; a brother Michael Brooks of Beckley; four grandchildren Kalyn Bragg, James
Matthew Bragg, Garrett Brooks and Zachary Brooks; mother-in-law Janice Tolliver of Glen Fork; and a host

Bobby Lee Cline, 80, of Clear Fork, WV passed away on Monday March 19, 2018 at his home.  He was born
on May 21, 1937 in Hico, WV a son of the late Fred Harrison and Ethel Irene Camp Cline. Bobby is a United
Sates Army Veteran. He attended the Fellowship Tabernacle in Christiansburg, Truth Assembly in Glen Fork
and the Spoken Word in Beckley. He worked on GMO Railroad in Illinois, owned a grocery store, Shoe City
in Oceana and Cline's Paving. He was one of the founders of the Oceana Midget and PeeWee Football
League in the 1970's. Bobby was a boxer, he fought hundreds of amateur fights, he won over 130
professional fights while only losing one fight. He retired as WV Welter Weight Champion. He also coached
many area fighters. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by a son Tony Cline; a granddaughter
Sara Cline; two sisters Janet Johnson and Marylee Fournier; and a foster daughter Nancy Whitfield.
Survivors include his loving wife of 57 years Yvonne Hughes Cline; two daughters Faith (Kevin) Morgan and
Hope (Jeremy) Pettry all of Sunhill; a foster daughter Sandra Carver; two sons Freddie "Joey" Cline and
Eddie Cline both of Sunhill; a special friend who was like a son Curtis (Cheryl) Browning; a special friend
like a daughter Tina (Mark) Rogers; a brother Jerry Harrison (Juanita) Cline of Waynesboro, VA; eleven
grandchildren Amber (Travis) Brunty, Paige (Jeffery) Dishmon, Jocie Cline, Caitlin Cline, Savanah Adkins,
Cassidy Cline, Hailey Morgan, Destiny Morgan, Felicity Pettry, Andrew Adkins and Austin Cline; two great
grandchildren Joseph Blake and Kimberly Renee' Dishmon; six foster grandchildren Micah, Samuel, Josh
and Charity Carver, and Jocline and Lance Browning; and many many friends, neighbors and beloved church

Darlene Hatfield, 58, of Bluefield, WV passed away on Tuesday March 20, 2018 at Bluefield Regional
Hospital, Bluefield, WV.  She was born on August 3, 1959 in Welch, WV a daughter of Gloria Ann Stanley
Powell  of Bluefield and the late John Hobert Cole. Survivors include her husband  of 41 years Danny
Edward Hatfield; two daughters Tawnya Hatfield and companion Matthew Williams of Bluefield and
Tiffany (Mike) Smith of Jacksonville, NC; two sisters Drema Fowler of Bluefield and Melinda Climaco of IN;
a brother Jeff Cole of Bluefield; three grandchildren Laikin Steele and companion RJ Collins, Christian
Smith and Brayden Smith; and a host of other loving family and friends. Funeral services will be held at

Lula Ann "Dood" Brown, 83, of Oceana, WV passed away on Tuesday March 20, 2018 at Logan Regional
Medical Center, Logan, WV following a short illness.  She was born on June 24, 1934 in Cyclone, WV a
daughter of the late Andrew Jackson and Lillie Mae Daniels Brown. Lula is a member of the Lacoma Baptist
Church. She is the last surviving member of 18 children and a 1953 graduate of Oceana High School. A
celebration of her life will be held at 2PM on Saturday April 7, 2018 at the Gilman Bottom House of Prayer,
Davin, WV. In keeping with her wishes she will be cremated. The family is being served by the Stafford

Dexter C. Kennedy, 59, of Foundation Fork, WV passed away on Wednesday March 21, 2018 at his home.  
He was born on November 14, 1958 in Iaeger, WV a son of the late Azil and Ethel Morgan Kennedy. In
addition to his parents he is preceded in death by two brothers Denver and Winford Kennedy; and a
sister-in-law Bonita Kennedy. Survivors include his loving wife of 24 years Kimberly Ann Belcher Kennedy;
seven daughters Hazel Toler of New Richmond, Ashley (Rick) Cook of Itmann, Virginia (Thomas) Cook of
Hanover, Cynthia Ellis of Beckley, Fatoshia (Wesley) Browning of Gilbert, Zoey Kennedy and Delinda
Kennedy both of Long Branch; two sons Timothy "Beach" (Keshia) Morgan of Ikes Fork and Dexter
Kennedy, II of Long Branch; One sister Carnetta (Benny) Cline of Long Branch; five brothers Ott (Carol)

Cody Austin Stewart, 29, of Matheny, WV passed away on Thursday March 22, 2018 at his home after a
battle with cancer.  He was born on October 6, 1988 in Welch, WV a son of Donny Eugene Stewart of
Matheny and the late Ramona Jean East May Stewart. In addition to his mother he is preceded in death by
his grandfathers Henry C. Stewart, Jr. and Richard East; and a step brother Trace May. In addition to his
father survivors include a step brother Mack May of FL; and a host of other loving family and friends. The

Powell Edward Cooke, Sr., 85, of Pineville, WV passed away on Thursday March 22, 2018 at Bowers
Hospice House, Beckley, WV.  He was born on January 4, 1933 in Jesse, WV a son of the late Harry Greene
and Blanche Stewart Cooke, Sr. Powell is a United States Army Veteran, a member of the UMWA Local
1503 and the Wyoming County Veterans Honor Guard. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by
two sisters Mary Lee Weaver and Emmy Vandev; and a brother Jennings Cooke. Survivors include his
loving wife of 63 years Myrtle Marie Vaught Cooke; a daughter Jeanette (Kenneth) Allen of Evansville, IN;
a son Powell Edward (Cindy Rae) Cooke, Jr. of Lillydale; two brothers Harry G. (Charlene) Cook of Pineville
and Ronald (Tammy) Cooke of Jesse; three grandchildren Clifton (Jessica) Cooke, Jenna Blake and Evan

Margore "Margie" Marie Maynard Spratt, 80, of Kopperston, WV passed away unexpectedly on March 22,
2018 in Raleigh General Hospital, Beckley, WV. She was born on January 17, 1938 in Warfield, KY a
daughter of the late Russell and Ollie Maynard. Margie was a beloved Mother, Sister and "Nanny" to her
grandchildren and great grandchildren. She worshiped at Kopperston Freewill Baptist Church. In addition
to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband Vondie Spratt; and a sister Pauline Cline. Survivors
include three children Joseph V. Torres, Kimberly (William) Smith and Philip (Erin) Spratt; sisters Louise
Spisak, Bonnie (John) Sarsfield and Debbie Belcher; brothers Buddy (Linda) Maynard, Darrell (Brenda)

Gail Lynn "Nut" Cline Allen, 67, of Oceana, WV left her earthly body surrounded by her loving family on
Saturday March 24, 2018 at CAMC General Hospital, Charleston, WV. Isaiah 40:31 But they that wait upon
the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run and not be
weary, and they shall walk and not faint  She was born on December 12, 1950 in Simon, WV a daughter of
the late Mack and Edna Blankenship Cline. She was of the Apostolic faith and a member of the Full Gospel
Tabernacle where she proudly served as Armor bearer to Pastor Delana Daniels and mother of the church.
She loved going to church, spending time with her family, being outdoors, planting flowers especially
roses, sitting on her porch swinging and walking in the evenings with her best friend, Debbie Tate. In
addition to her parents she is preceded in death a brother Larry M. Cline. She is survived by her husband of
46 years Dennis Allen; two daughters Shavonda (Jerry) Owens of Oceana and Kimberly (Michelle) Allen of
Beckley; two sons Dennis Wayne Allen and Hunter Owens both of the home; five grandchildren, all whom
she loved so much Courtney England, James Williams, Ashley Williams, Mackinzie Gail Owens and Karleigh
AbiGail Allen; one great granddaughter Harmonee England; a brother Kincle (Bethel) Cline of Lynco; two
sisters Barbara Cline of Ridgeway, SC and Judith Cline of Lynco; and a host of nieces, nephews and other
loving family and friends. A home going and celebration of Gail's life will be 1PM on Thursday March 29th

Vergie Lee Brewster Baldwin, 85, of Oceana, WV passed away on March 24, 2018 at her home. She was born
on June 1, 1932 in McDowell County, WV a daughter of the late Jim and Hilda Mae Mitchell Brewster. In
addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband Robert Franklin Baldwin, Jr.; a daughter
Judy Wimmer; a son Robert Franklin Baldwin, III; and two grandchildren Michael and Melissa Wimmer.
Survivors include three daughters Debbie (Gerald) Chambers of Pineville, Cay (Phillip) Stafford of Eccles
and Lisa Baldwin of Lynco; a son Matthew Baldwin; grandchildren Della Stafford and companion David
Toler, Mark Burgess, Brandon Stafford, Stephanie (Tom) Devaney, Amanda Milam and husband Mark, , and

Helen Delane Martin Spence, 68, of Cyclone, WV passed away on March 30, 2018 at McDowell Nursing and
Rehab, Gary, WV. She was born on January 14, 1950 in Cyclone, WV a daughter of the late Rubert Lee and
Berta Maxine Brown Martin. For the past few years of Helens stay she sang at the services at the nursing
home. She had weekly visits from Jada, Charlie and Melba and visits from Denise and David, she enjoyed
time with family and friends. She enjoyed the yearly trip to the Labor Day Celebration. She enjoyed her
activities and Bingo. Helen will be loved and missed. Her statement to those she loved was always love you
morether.  In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by two brothers Grady Martin and Allen
"Ruddy" Martin. Survivors include a son Kristopher Spence of Kopperston; two sisters Melba Tolliver of
Cyclone and Andrea Martin of Beckley; seven grandchildren McKalah, Dylan, Kailyn, Paityn, Tyler, Matt and
Jada, who was her daily sidekick; one great grandchild; and a host of other loving family and friends.

Norman Wayne Thompson, 78, of Rockview, WV passed away on March 30, 2018 at Raleigh General
Hospital, Beckley, WV. He was born on May 23, 1939 in Tazewell, VA a son of the late James Franklin and
Mary Madelena Browning Thompson. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by two brothers
James Franklin Thompson, Jr. and Darrell Sherwood Thompson; and a sister Patsy Jane Woods. Survivors
include his loving wife of 15 years Juanita Lester Thompson; two sisters Geneva Roberta Thompson of
Albuquerque, NM and Peggy June Workman of Beckley; two brothers Samuel Earl (Phyliss) Thompson of FL

Robert Dale “Buddy” Addison, 28, of Coal Mountain, WV passed away on March 30th, 2018 at his
residence. He was born July 8th 1989 a son of Elizabeth Davis of Coal Mountain and the late Hansal Dale
Morgan. Buddy was a sweet and gentle soul, he was the best friend you could ever ask for and would go
out of his way to help anyone. He will truly be missed by all his loving family and friends. In addition to his
father he is preceded in death by a brother Matthew Morgan; his maternal grandparents Harold and Evelyn
Addison; and step grandfather Bernie Davis. In addition to his mother survivors include his step father

Rose Ann Reece, 54, of Pineville, WV formerly of Mullens passed away on Tuesday April 10, 2018 at Bowers
Hospice House, Beckley, WV. She was born on July 14, 1963 in Mullens, WV a daughter of Rita Mae
Blankenship Edens of Pineville and the late Jack Edward Hicks. Rose is a 1983 graduate of Mullens High
School. She worked several years at Thomas Snack Shop in Mullens with her life-long special friend, Lisa
"Mouse" Thompson Farley as well as the Wyoming County Council on Aging at Itmann. In addition to her
father she is preceded in death by her first husband Mark Reece; maternal grandparents Henry and Ennis
Blankenship; and paternal grandparents Clarence and Maggie Hicks. Survivors include a son Jeffery Lee
Reece of Beckley; a sister Bottsie Hicks of Pineville; three brothers Timothy (Rose "Chubby") Hicks of

University of MD Charles Regional Medical Center, La Plata, MD. He was born on October 17, 1965 in
Welch, WV a son of the late Edward Huling Lester and the late Maggie Vicie Hendricks Lester Blankenship.
Dale was is a United States Marines, Navy and Air Force Veteran and a 1984 graduate of Oceana High
School. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by a brother Erby Edward Lester and step father

Enoch Johnson and Mary Lee Faw Tolliver. He was a member of the UMWA and last worked at the US Steel
Prep Plant. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his wife of 35 years Barbara Simpson

Hobert was a loving father, grandfather, father-in-law, great grandfather, son brother and friend. He is a

Michael Charles Toler, 64, of Wolf Pen, WV passed away on Friday April 27, 2018 at his home. He was born

Pastor Roger D. Stewart, 71, took his first walk on the streets of Glory on Monday, April 30, 2018 at
Raleigh General Hospital.  He was born October 19, 1946 in Matheny, WV the son of the late French and
Lettie Stewart. Roger began his ministry calling in 1972.  He was pastor of several churches throughout the
state retiring as Pastor of Campus Church of God at Cyclone.  After retiring from being a full time pastor,
Roger enjoyed singing with The Harless Family, evangelizing, sitting on the porch and visiting with family
and friends.  Roger left behind a great legacy and will be greatly missed by many. In addition to his parents
he was preceded in death by two brothers Onnie and Gifford; a sister Betty Gail Sigmon; and a nephew
Jimmy Sigmon.  Survivors include his loving wife of 53 years and partner in ministry Brenda Runion
Stewart; a son Mark (Cecilia)Stewart of Buckhannon; a daughter Kim (Shawn) Sanders of Kopperston; and

Carl E. “Tuffy” Fleenor, Jr, 69, of Kopperston, WV, went peacefully to be with Jesus on Tuesday, May 1,
2018, at Bowers Hospice House of Beckley, WV, following a courageous battle with cancer.  Born July 15,
1948 in Dante, VA  the son of the late Carl Edward Sr. and Ruby Helen Linkous Fleenor.  Tuffy was a beloved
husband, father, Pap, uncle, and friend to all.  His smile was contagious, and he made anyone who knew
him feel special and loved. He was an inspiration to many, and a strong man of integrity and virtue.  His
legacy will be one of God’s love; his life on Earth was spent spreading that love to all he came into contact
with.   Tuffy was a United States Army Vietnam Veteran, a member of the UMWA Local 1503 and the
Toneda Missionary Baptist Church.  Survivors include his loving wife of 49 years Beverly "Bev" Cook

Waitman S. Brown, 71, of Cyclone, WV, went home to be with the Lord on Friday May 11, 2018 in Bowers
Hospice House, Beckley, WV. He was born on March 23, 1947 in Cyclone, WV, a son of the late Shelby and
Alma Elkins Brown. Waitman enlisted in the Army in 1968 and served two tours in Vietnam. He was a
member of the honor guard and participated in many events including parades and funerals. He loved his
family and friends. He was a member of the choir at Campus Church of God. He loved to sing and play his
harmonicas in church. He was part of the gospel singing group "The Brown Family". He enjoyed fishing,
eating, camping and spending time outdoors. He was very talented at playing many different instruments.

Walls of Jacksonville, FL and the late Grant Walls. Joe worked as a coal and log truck driver, Food Lion  and
Walmart associate and worked on Hurricane relief when needed. He never met a stranger and was loved by

Vernon Lee Hurley, 75, of  St. Simons Island, Georgia, passed May 17, 2018 in Carillion Memorial Hospital,
Roanoke, Virginia. He was born August 14, 1942 in Rockview, Wyoming County, WV to Goldie Short Rose of
Beckley, WV, and the late Nehemiah Myre Hurley. Vernon was predeceased by his first wife and mother of
his four children, Donna Allen Hurley, in 2004.  He is survived by his loving wife Anne Bleakley Jones Hurley
whom he married February 7, 2018, and her son Freddie Bruce; his Children: Keith Duty and sons Paul and
Logan; daughter Carol Lynn and husband Terry Privett; son Christopher and Amanda Lynn Hurley and
grandchildren Elyn and Liam, who were the sunshine of his life; and Jeremy Hurley. He is also survived by
his sister Carrol and husband Karl Ullrich, and brother Stephen and wife Linda Pannel Hurley. A memorial
service will be held 5:00 PM Monday, May 21, 2018 at Rockcastle Baptist Church, Rockview, West Virginia.  
There will be a later memorial service at Holy Nativity Episcopal Church in Georgia,  after which his ashes
will be interred in Christ Church Frederica, St. Simons Island, GA.

Helen Marie Cook McGinnis, 95, of Oceana, passed away Friday, May 18, 2018 at Bowers Hospice House in
Beckley after a long battle with Crohn’s Disease. Helen was born on November 18, 1922 at Peach Tree near
Naoma to the late Reverend Byrd G. and Belva Cook. In addition to her parents, Helen was preceded in
death by her husband of 60 years, Alfred “Jack” McGinnis, a son Roy Roger (Julia) McGinnis of Dry Creek, a
daughter, Betty Rose (Guy) Cox of Gastonia, North Carolina, a sister, Ruth Bone (Giles) of Flint, Michigan,
two brothers, Louie (Virginia) Cook of Tipton, Iowa and David “Bill” Cook of Fairdale. She will be forever
missed by her daughters and caregivers Joyce Jean Sabatino and Jacquelyn Ann “Jackie” Whitley of
Oceana, her son James Ross (Joyce) McGinnis of Huntington, and her sister Fern (George) Wood of
Beckley. Helen leaves eleven grandchildren, fourteen great grandchildren, and three great great
grandchildren who adored her. She will also be missed by her dogs Zoey and Susie, and fourteen cats,
especially “Baby” and “Smokey”, each of whom were given to her or abandoned on her doorstep. Helen
felt a great calling to care for God’s creatures, especially unwanted animals.  Helen lived her early years at
Dry Creek, working the family farm, raising a family, and playing piano at Dry Creek Freewill Baptist
Church. She and Jack moved to Oceana (Crany) in 1968 where he worked at the Kopperston #2 mine until
retirement.  As recently as last summer, Helen could be seen mowing her three-acre yard on her faithful
Cub Cadet and working her beautiful flower gardens. She attended Crany Missionary Baptist Church when
she could and enjoyed the fellowship of her neighbors. Services will be held Friday, May 25, 2018 at
Stafford Family Funeral Home at Lynco. Visitation will begin at 11:00 a.m. followed by the funeral at 1:00
with Reverend Charles Cook officiating.  Helen will be buried at the Cook Family Cemetery at Peach Tree
near the home place where she was born. Pallbearers will be grandsons and great grandsons. The family
would like to thank the nurses and staff of Bowers Hospice House for their amazing care and compassion.
