April 28, 2020.  He was proceeded in death by his mother, Freda Irene (Kenney) Parks and father, Carl Henley
Parks.  Jim had a special "unique" sense of humor and loved to make people laugh.  Through his ability of
laughter he displayed that laughter, even in the toughest of times conveyed not only his love for life to others,
yet how God gives us the choice to dance in the rain as well as the sunshine.  He proved this by his own endurance
of multiple health issues for years and never giving up or complaining, yet kept his laughter and faith to the very
end. Jim leaves behind his wife of 44 years, Elaine (Clay) Parks, who loved him tremendously and will miss him,
yet rejoices that he is "whole again in his New Body".  He also leaves his sister, Sheila Parks and a brother, Ranny
Parks, both of Pineville, WV.    He will be missed by his "Clay family", of Dean, Phyllis, Connie, Earl, Kathy and
Yvonne Clay.  We want to give a special thanks for our God-Son, Darrell Canada, (nephew) who for years has
shown great love for Jim and being by his side "anytime" needed and shared the laughter with Jim.  His "Little
Kara", as he called her (niece) and Mila and Kanan brought love and life, when he so needed it.  A very special
family addition  for years of Brian, Reta, Colton, Lunden, and Dawson Morgan;  Marissa and Henry Schomaker,
who were there in middle of nights, snow storms and always made him feel special. All proved their love by
always being there through his long illness. A special thank you to Palliative Care and Hospice of Southern WV,
for their great care, improving quality of life, and giving his wish of being at home for almost 3 years.  Otis
Canada, (brother-in-law) with the Sweet Home Baptist Church and Christ Community Church were in his life for
years.  A private Remembrance of Jim's life is yet to be determined. In Lieu of flowers, Jim wishes were to donate
to the ASPCA or Hospice/Palliative Care. The Family is being served by the Stafford Family Funeral Home, Lynco,
